Medical Marijuana Informational Page
The Select Board has received a request from INSA to locate a medical marijuana retail establishment in the Town of Avon at 20 Stockwell Drive.
In accordance with state requirements, INSA will be required to host a Community Outreach Meeting. The meeting will allow the public to learn about their proposal, ask questions and offer feedback. The date and information will be listed below when details are finalized.
The next step in the approval process is for the Town to enter into a Host Community Agreement with INSA. Before the Select Board consider this request to ensure residents have ample opportunity to provide input, the Board of Selectmen have allowed a comment period on the proposal from INSA.
On July 22nd, INSA made a presentation to the Select Board. You can view the video here. A copy of the PowerPoint presentation is below. If you would like to offer any feedback on the INSA proposal, please email the BOS at info@avon-ma.gov The comment period will be open until Monday, August 30, 2021.
