CJP is planning to install water service connections in Oliver Street.

To date, CJP has installed approximately 10,650 linear feet of 8” water main.  On days where they are installing pipe, they are averaging about 193 LF per day.

Brentwood Update for the Week of September 17th

For the week of September 17th, CJP is planning to install water main along McCoy Street and Malley Avenue.

To date, CJP has installed approximately 10,000 linear feet of 8” water main.  On days where they are installing pipe, they are averaging about 193 LF per day.

August 31st Update

CJP is planning to install water main along Feeley Street next week.

To date, CJP has installed approximately 9,500 linear feet of 8” water main.  On days where they are installing pipe, they are averaging about 191 LF per day.

August 24th Update

In addition to the Pond and Porter tie in, CJP will be working on Noyes street the  week of August 27th.

To date, CJP has installed approximately 8,800 linear feet of 8” water main.  On days where they are installing pipe, they are averaging about 191 LF per day. 

August 17th Update

CJP is planning to install water main and service connections in the remainder of Brentwood Avenue on the week of the 20th.

To date, CJP has installed approximately 7,700 linear feet of 8” water main.  On days where they are installing pipe, they are averaging about 188 LF per day.

August 10, 2018 Update

“CJP is planning to do service connections on Oliver Street, Packard Street, and Brentwood Avenue the week of the 13th.  They also will have a second crew on site next week installing temporary by-pass piping on Porter Street, McCoy Street, Noyes Street, Malley Avenue, and Feeley Street.

To date, CJP has installed approximately 7,400 linear feet of 8” water main.  On days where they are installing pipe, they are averaging about 185 LF per day. 

A reminder that a meeting on the project is on Tuesday the 14th, 6:30PM at Town Hall. More information is available on the in the August 3rd update below.”

Packard Street water services are scheduled for the week of August 6th.  To date, the contractor CJP has installed 6,400 linear feet of new water main and they are averaging about 190 LF of pipe per work day.   To date, CJP has installed approximately 7,350 linear feet of 8” water main.  On days where they are installing pipe, they are averaging about 190 LF per day.  People will be contacted individually concerning any water service interruptions while tie-overs are made..

Neighborhood Meeting - There will be a meeting to discuss the next phases of the Brentwood project on Tuesday, August 14th at 6:30 at Town Hall, Mary McDermott Meeting Room.  The meeting will cover the current project status and schedule, sidewalk locations and water services.

July 27, 2018 Update

Packard Street is scheduled for work the week of July 30th.  To date, the contractor CJP has installed 6,400 linear feet of new water main and they are averaging about 190 LF of pipe per work day.   Note: there are no planned water service shutdowns.

The contractor completed its planned work for Oliver Street this week, and is now moving to Packard Street, starting at Ekberg and working towards Cross.  An updated progress map is attached. NOTE:  there are no planned water service shutdowns. ”

July 12, 2018 Update

Click here to view a progress map showing construction to date in the Brentwood area and planned work for next week.  To date, CJP has installed approximately 5,200 linear feet of new 8-inch water main.  On days that the crew is installing pipe, they average about 195 linear feet per day.

Next week (July 16-20), the crew anticipates installing the remainder of pipe in Oliver Street.  This will be subject to the weather.

May 22, 2018 - Temporary water main shutdown

A portion of the water main on Pond Street will need to be shut down on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, as part of the Brentwood Area Water Main Replacement program.  The shut down will occur between the hours of 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM.  Addresses on both sides between 195 Pond Street and 240 Pond Street (inclusive) will not have water service during this time.  Notices to each affected home will be delivered this week.  Water service will be resumed at 4:00 PM on Tuesday May 22.  One lane of Pond Street will remain open for traffic during this work.
