June 30, 2021 Update:

For at least the next 5 to 6 weeks, there will be a great deal of construction activity on Bodwell and Pond as part of the MassDOT reconstruction project.    It would be helpful if businesses encouraged as much traffic as possible to enter and exit at the north end of Bodwell to page, and left on  Rte 139 the north end of Bodwell, and/or avoid the heaviest hours.

Most immediately, there will be drainage work that will narrow the north (Bank America) side of Pond for a portion of Pond--in the middle of the stretch from Bodwell west to the Harrison/Pond intersection.  Also, National Grid will be installing new poles in the area.

Also scheduled in the next few weeks is construction is drainage in the middle of the Bodwell and Pond intersection.  This may involve short term closure or one way traffic at that intersection.

We will keep you informed as more details are forthcoming.
