REQUEST FOR QUOTES RFQ # TOAH-01
 
The Town of Avon, by and through the Avon Historical Commission, is seeking responses from qualified historic preservation consultants to undertake the “Avon Community-wide Historic Properties Survey.” Responses must be received at the Office of the Selectmen, Avon Town Hall, 65 E. Main Street, Avon, Massachusetts 02322, on or before 10:00 am, Wednesday, August 18, 2021.
 
The Town of Avon reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informalities in the Proposal process, if deemed in the Town’s best interest. The Request for Quotes (RFQ), containing scope of work, proposal requirements, and evaluation criteria, will be/is available upon request after 10:00 am, Thursday, July 22, 2021 at the above address or by contacting the Gregory Enos by e-mail or telephone at genos@avon-ma.gov or (508) 588-0414, ext. 1020.
Proposers must meet the following minimum qualifications: a Bachelor’s degree in Historic Preservation, Architectural History, History, Art History, or a closely related field, plus at least two years full time experience in an area relevant to the project; or a Master’s degree in any of the above mentioned areas.
The RFQ may be viewed and printed from www.avon-ma.gov, under “RFP/s/RFQ’s/Bids” on the main page.
 
Questions regarding the RFQ must be written and e-mailed to genos@avon-ma.gov no later than 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 12, 2021.
