Memorial Day Parade

The Select Board and members of the Frank M. Noyes VFW Post 8892, Inc. are pleased to announce the Annual Memorial Day Parade. This year the parade will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2023.
The parade will commence at 12:00 p.m. at St. Michael’s Church located at 87 North Main Street. The parade will proceed past the Fire Station, down Route 28, by the Avon Town Offices and will conclude at the VFW.

The Council on Aging will have seating available for seniors wishing to watch the parade in front of the Town Offices.
The parade participants will include the Randolph High School Marching Band, the Cosmo Legion Band of Brockton, the Old Colony Model T Club, the local Girl Scouts, and Avon Youth Baseball.
All parade participants and spectators are welcome to attend a free cookout after the parade at the VFW. The cookout menu will include hamburgers, hot dogs, sausages, chips, and potato salad. Ice cream and juice boxes will be available for the children.
