The Town of Avon is accepting sealed bids for the Avon Public Library Roof Repairs and Replacement Project.  Copies of the Invitation for Bids (IFB) package will be available beginning March 20, 2019 at the Town Clerk’s Office, 65. E. Main Street, Avon, MA 02322 between 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM, M-TH or by subscribing below.  Sealed bids must be submitted no later than 4:00 PM, April 10, 2019 to the Town Clerk’s Office.  All bids must be accompanied by a bid deposit in an amount that is not less than five percent (5%) of the value of the bid. LATE BIDS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.   A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:30 AM, April 1, 2019 at the Avon Public Library, 280 W. Main Street, Avon, MA 02322.

 

The Town of Avon, through the Board of Selectmen, is the awarding authority and reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or parts of proposals; to waive any defects, information, and minor irregularities; to accept exceptions to these specifications; and to award contracts or to cancel this Invitation for Bids if it is in the Town of Avon’s best interest to do so.
