Town Accountant

About:

The Accountants office is primarily responsible for overseeing the financial operation of all departments.  We are responsible for producing and processing payroll and vendor warrants for all Town departments.  The Town Accountant keeps detailed records of all receipts and expenditures of the Town and prepares all financial, statistical and operational reports for local, state and federal purposes.  As part of the Finance Department, this office works most closely with the Treasurer/Collector’s and Assessors office.
