The Town of Avon, Board of Selectmen, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Contractors for
the FY24 Street Paving and Site Work Project in Avon Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents
prepared by GCG Associates, Inc. Sealed Bids will be received by the Town Clerk office, 65 East Main
Street, Town Hall, Avon, Massachusetts until 11:00 a.m., November 30, 2023, at which time and place all
bids will be publicly opened and bids read aloud. Bids submitted after this time will not be accepted after
this time.
Project consists of: Reclamation, Cold Milling, and Full Depth Reconstruction of roadway, Hot Mix Asphalt
(HMA) Pavement; Stone Dust, Cement Concrete, and Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) Sidewalk and/or Shared Bike
Path; Granite Curb, Granite Edging, and HMA Monolithic Cape Cod Berm; Drainage Improvements and
associated Pavement Marking, Signage and Utilities on various streets and John J. Demarco Park Trail Site
Work within the Town of Avon as directed by the Town.
