AVON PUBLIC LIBRARY ADA BATHROOM AND ACESSIBILITY PROJECT
In accordance with M.G.L. c149, the Town of Avon, Board of Selectmen’s Office, acting as the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids for the Avon Public Library ADA Bathroom and Accessibility Project from qualified vendors to install a new ADA compliant bathroom, ADA wheelchair lift and various repairs to the lobby of the Avon Public Library, located at 280 West Main Street, Avon MA, as outlined in the bid specifications. Qualified vendors are requested to submit in accordance with the instructions contained within the Invitation for Bid.
All bidders are required to attend a MANDATORY pre-bid walk through of the project site on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at 10:00 AM(prior attendees exempt) . Interested parties shall meet at the Avon Public Library.
Bid documents will be available online at www.avon-ma.gov, starting on Wednesday, October 9th, 2019 at 9:00 AM under “Procurement”. First time users will need to register to view documents. Bid documents may be examined at the Town Clerk’s Office, 65 E. Main Street, Avon, MA 02322, (508) 588-0414 x-1010, between the hours of 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM (Monday-Wednesday), 8:30 AM and 7:30 PM on Thursday and 8:30 AM and 1:00 PM on Fridays. General bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in an amount which is not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount.
Sealed bids will be received at the Town Clerk’s Office, Avon Town Hall, 65 E. Main Street, Avon, MA 02322 until 12:30 PM on Friday, December 6, 2019.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all responses if the Owner determines, within its own discretion, that it is in the Owner’s best interests to do so.
