Public Meeting – Draft Avon PreDisaster Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan 5-year Update

The Town will hold a public meeting on the final draft  PreDistaster Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan 5-year Update/Municipal Vulnerability preparedness Plan on Thursday, July 22nd at 5PM by TEAMS.   The purpose of this plan is identify the Town’s vulnerabilities to natural disasters and actions the Town may take to mitigate impacts from natural disasters.   Approval of the plan update makes the Town eligible for state and federal funds to help implement the recommended mitigation actions.  A copy of the draft Plan is available here.
